Project Construction Manager – FPSO (EPCI)

About the role

The Project Construction Manager will lead all construction activities for FPSO projects, covering the full lifecycle from engineering and procurement through fabrication, integration, commissioning and offshore installation. This role is critical to delivering safe, on‑time and high‑quality outcomes in a fast‑paced, rotation‑based environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead construction phases of FPSO projects from yard fabrication to offshore installation.
• Develop and manage construction plans, execution strategies and resource allocation.
• Ensure compliance with EPCI schedules, budgets and quality standards.
• Oversee fabrication yards, subcontractors and on‑site construction teams.
• Coordinate closely with Engineering, Procurement and Commissioning functions.
• Drive HSE performance and promote a zero‑harm culture.
• Monitor progress, implement corrective actions and manage risk mitigation.
• Maintain stakeholder relationships with clients, yards and vendors.

Required profile

• 15–20 years of experience in offshore oil & gas construction.
• Proven track record across the full FPSO project lifecycle (EPCI).
• Experience managing large‑scale construction teams in international yards.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management and decision‑making abilities.
• Ability to thrive in high‑pressure, schedule‑driven environments.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of FPSO and upstream facilities execution.
• Familiarity with major FPSO contractors (e.g., SBM, MODEC, BW Offshore).
