Project Coordinator – Construction

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Project Coordinator to join our construction team on Jurong Island. You will play a pivotal role in preparing, scheduling, and monitoring engineering projects, ensuring smooth execution from design to completion.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, schedule, coordinate, and monitor assigned engineering projects.
• Assist in pre‑drawing submission to understand design concepts.
• Interact with clients, interpret their requirements, and represent them on‑site.
• Resolve site problems encountered during construction.
• Monitor work progress using shop drawings and perform quality control on budgets, schedules, and personnel performance.
• Review engineering tasks and initiate corrective actions as needed.
• Conduct spot or routine site visits to assess subcontractor workmanship and speed.
• Perform quality and accuracy checks using checklists.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, policies, and specifications.

Required profile

• At least a Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to work on multiple‑discipline projects.
• Excellent project management and supervision capabilities.
• Availability to start on short notice or immediately.
