Project Coordinator – Rail Infrastructure

About the role

Siemens Mobility is seeking a Project Coordinator to lead the design and delivery of depot equipment projects within its Rail Infrastructure business. You will work closely with internal teams, civil contractors and system-wide contractors to ensure projects meet technical, safety and schedule requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design process for depot equipment, creating layouts, technical drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate procurement, delivery and installation activities, aligning them with project timelines and budgets.
• Provide design guidance and mentorship to a team of project engineers.
• Act as the primary liaison between internal departments, contractors, clients and other stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain project documentation, including design plans, schedules and risk assessments.
• Produce and manage Interface Management documentation to ensure compliance with standards.
• Conduct site visits and meetings to monitor progress, resolve technical issues and enforce safety and quality standards.
• Stay updated on industry trends and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure full compliance with safety regulations, company policies and industry standards.

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical, Electronic or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of project coordination experience in railway or depot equipment projects.
• Proven track record on large‑scale infrastructure projects.
• Experience managing multinational design teams and handling design clarifications.
• Extensive background in rolling stock equipment maintenance.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
