Project Director – International TSI Projects (APAC)

About the role

We are seeking a senior Project Director to lead end‑to‑end delivery of international TSI projects (wind, solar, storage) across the APAC region. The role oversees contract fulfillment from signing through warranty, ensuring compliance with EHS, quality, schedule and cost targets while managing cross‑cultural teams.

Key responsibilities

• Drive full‑cycle delivery of TSI projects, handling contract signing, execution, acceptance and warranty closure.
• Manage Long‑Term Service Agreements on‑site, including spare‑parts logistics, O&M and performance guarantees.
• Ensure compliance with local laws, internal controls and export regulations, making final risk judgments.
• Recruit, develop and empower multicultural project teams and establish a repeatable delivery capability.
• Resolve conflicts among clients, subcontractors, governments and communities to prevent delays.
• Allocate resources rapidly across regions during supply‑chain constraints or urgent on‑site needs.
• Identify and respond to unstructured risks such as policy shifts, protests or exchange‑rate volatility.
• Lead resolution of major technical, commercial or legal issues with incomplete information.
• Adapt and localise contract fulfillment processes, ensuring they support rather than hinder delivery.
• Implement EHS and quality standards on‑site, conduct spot audits and drive corrective actions.
• Participate in budgeting, forecasting and final settlement to protect project margins.
• Capture lessons learned and produce case studies for organisational knowledge.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering Management, Power Systems, New Energy, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Extensive experience delivering large‑scale renewable‑energy projects internationally.
• Proven ability to lead multicultural teams and navigate complex stakeholder environments.
• Strong decision‑making skills under uncertainty and ability to manage high‑impact risks.
• Excellent communication and conflict‑resolution capabilities.
