Project Engineer (Construction)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Project Engineer to join our construction team on Jurong Island. You will work closely with the Project Manager to ensure that projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the required quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and executing construction projects, ensuring adherence to schedules and specifications.
• Supervise on‑site activities, coordinating with subcontractors, workers, and suppliers to maintain safe and efficient operations.
• Review drawings, specifications, and technical documents, providing guidance to site personnel.
• Monitor daily progress, prepare reports, and keep the Project Manager informed of any deviations.
• Ensure construction work meets quality standards and complies with safety regulations.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including site and progress reports.
• Liaise with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to resolve technical issues.
• Coordinate material deliveries, manage site inventory, and ensure resources are available as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Project Manager.

Required profile

• Junior‑level professional with a degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work under supervision.
• Good communication skills for interaction with stakeholders and site teams.

• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
