Project Engineer (Construction)

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Project Engineer to support the execution of construction projects across Singapore. You will work closely with the Project Manager to ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in planning, coordinating and executing construction activities.
• Monitor site progress and verify compliance with schedules, specifications and quality standards.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers to resolve issues and maintain smooth operations.
• Review technical drawings, specifications and method statements for feasibility.
• Conduct site inspections to enforce safety compliance and quality control.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports and progress updates.
• Coordinate timely delivery of materials, manpower allocation and site activities.
• Identify site issues promptly and implement effective solutions.

Required profile

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in the construction industry.
• Strong understanding of construction processes and site coordination.
• Familiarity with Singapore construction regulations and safety standards.
• Effective communication, problem‑solving and ability to work independently.
