Project Engineer - Energy Equipment Projects

About the role

A global leader in energy resilience and power solutions is looking for a Project Engineer in Singapore, managed by Randstad. The engineer manages and executes industrial and engineering projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain master schedules, coordinating internal teams and external stakeholders so project milestones are met on time.
• Lead Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) with clients and distributors, working with interplant teams on testing and product deliveries.
• Supervise on-site installations, take part in consultant meetings and manage subcontractors on material approvals and drawing submissions.
• Finalise all project documentation before delivery and give engineering feedback on drawings and third-party products.
• Provide primary technical support, prepare monthly progress and cost reports, and arrange final site testing for a smooth handover to the aftermarket department.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• At least 2 years of experience in project management for an equipment manufacturer.
• Experience with generators, transformers, switchgear, UPS or similar products.
