Project Engineer

About the role

DING YI CONCEPT PTE. LTD. is looking for a motivated Project Engineer to support structural steel and construction projects from planning through completion. You will work closely with the Project Manager, consultants, clients, suppliers, subcontractors and site teams to ensure smooth project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in planning, coordinating and executing projects.
• Review construction, structural steel and M&E drawings.
• Coordinate fabrication, delivery and installation of structural steel components.
• Supervise daily site activities and monitor work progress.
• Prepare work schedules, progress reports, method statements and project documentation.
• Conduct quantity take‑offs, support Bills of Quantities and assist with cost estimation.
• Evaluate quotations, support budget monitoring and material procurement.
• Prepare and update AutoCAD shop drawings and as‑built drawings.
• Maintain records of drawings, submissions, inspections and correspondence.

Required profile

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• Minimum two years of relevant experience in construction or project engineering.
• Ability to read and understand construction and structural drawings.
• Strong planning, documentation and problem‑solving abilities.
• Willingness to work at different project locations in Singapore as required.
