Project Manager – Automotive Industry

About the role

We are seeking a Project Manager to lead cross‑functional teams for a global automotive client. You will be responsible for delivering projects that meet quality, delivery, and cost (QDC) objectives while ensuring alignment with customer expectations and internal standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, estimate, and track project activities to achieve QDC goals.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customer issues and drive resolution through collaboration.
• Coordinate with local and overseas teams to ensure stakeholder alignment and smooth execution.
• Develop project timelines, monitor milestones, and communicate status to stakeholders.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate risks, adapting plans to changing requirements.
• Support RFI/RFQ processes, including work breakdown and schedule estimation.
• Travel frequently for project kick‑offs, discussions, and alignment meetings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Computer, Mechanical, or Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of project management experience, preferably in the automotive industry.
• Strong interpersonal, leadership, and organizational abilities.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and perform under pressure.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin for regular interaction with Chinese‑speaking stakeholders.
