Purchasing Executive – Procurement & Vendor Management

About the role

Sealed Air Singapore is seeking a proactive Purchasing Executive to lead sourcing, contract management, and vendor relationships. You will ensure procurement activities align with ISO 9001/14001 standards while supporting internal stakeholders to achieve cost‑effective and risk‑managed outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Raise and issue purchase orders, ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Source, negotiate, and evaluate vendors for both direct and indirect purchases.
• Select, qualify, and onboard new suppliers.
• Request quotations, issue drawings, and manage supplier communications on delivery schedules and samples.
• Interpret technical and dimensional drawings to verify specifications.
• Address quality issues and ensure customer requirements are met.
• Maintain accurate documentation of purchase orders and procurement records.
• Implement regular Cost Reduction Programs to drive savings.

Required profile

• Minimum Diploma in Business Administration, Purchasing Management, or equivalent.
• 2–3 years of hands‑on purchasing experience in a manufacturing or service environment.
• Strong negotiation and communication abilities with suppliers and internal teams.
• Proactive problem‑solving and analytical mindset.
• Permanent work rights in Singapore.

Required skills

• Ability to read and interpret technical and dimensional drawings.
