Project Manager - Building & Infrastructure

About the role

Turner & Townsend, a global professional services company with over 22,000 people in more than 60 countries, is looking for a Project Manager in Singapore. The role provides professional oversight and administration of large-scale, complex building, infrastructure, transportation or aviation development projects, covering all phases from planning and design through to completion, handover and the Defects Liability Period.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate project delivery across planning, design, procurement, construction, testing and commissioning, completion, handover and DLP.
• Lead contract administration, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements, project objectives and regulatory obligations.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including Architectural, Civil & Structural (C&S), Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) consultants, contractors and stakeholders.
• Monitor progress, cost, quality, safety and schedule performance.
• Facilitate design coordination and integration across disciplines.
• Manage interfaces between contractors, direct contracts, nominated subcontractors, specialists, authorities, operators and end users.
• Review contractor submissions, method statements, programmes, variation proposals, claims and progress reports.
• Support project governance, risk management, issue resolution and stakeholder engagement.
• Oversee testing, commissioning, completion and handover.
• Prepare and present project updates, technical reports, recommendations and performance reviews to project management and stakeholders.

Required profile

• Degree in Architecture, Civil & Structural, Mechanical & Electrical engineering, Project Management, Construction Management or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in architectural, civil & structural, mechanical & electrical or project management disciplines.
• Professional qualification, registration or accreditation recognised by the relevant professional body and acceptable to the client.
• Proven experience on major building, infrastructure, transportation, aviation or large-scale development projects.
• Strong knowledge of contract administration, project controls, design management, construction management and project delivery.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and coordinate across multidisciplinary teams.
