Project Manager – Construction (Building Projects)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead building and infrastructure projects for a leading A1 main contractor. The role involves overseeing all phases of construction, from planning through delivery, ensuring projects meet scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed project plans covering scope, timeline, budget, and resources.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project goals and deliverables.
• Supervise construction activities to ensure compliance with design intent, quality, and safety standards.
• Track milestones and performance metrics, adjusting plans to meet delivery targets.
• Manage project budgets, control expenditures, and ensure financial accountability.
• Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors for timely procurement.
• Maintain strong client relationships and address concerns throughout the project.
• Facilitate communication among architects, engineers, authorities, and other stakeholders.
• Conduct regular site inspections to uphold high-quality standards.
• Identify risks proactively and implement mitigation strategies.
• Provide senior management with regular updates on progress, challenges, and risks.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field.
• 5 to 10 years of proven project management experience in the construction sector, preferably with hotel or hospitality developments.
• Demonstrated success delivering large‑scale projects on time and within budget.
• Strong experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and managing diverse stakeholder relationships.
