Project Manager - Electrical & EV Charging Projects

About the role

A dynamic team delivering electrical and electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure projects across Singapore is looking for a Project Manager. You will own projects from initial planning through to completion, working across high-voltage (HV), low-voltage (LV) and extra-low-voltage (ELV) systems, leading multi-disciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the full project lifecycle, from pre-construction planning and procurement through commissioning and handover
• Direct site supervisors, licensed electricians and subcontractors to meet time, budget and quality targets
• Liaise with clients, consultants and authorities to obtain approvals and ensure compliance with Singapore electrical regulations, codes of practice and safety standards
• Develop project schedules, monitor progress and implement corrective actions
• Manage project budgets, track expenditure and report costs and progress to stakeholders
• Identify and mitigate risks, and ensure strict adherence to workplace safety and health (WSH) requirements
• Review technical drawings, specifications and method statements, and support variation orders, payment claims and project documentation

Required profile

• At least five years of hands-on experience managing electrical construction or M&E projects, able to deliver them independently
• Proven leadership of site supervisors, electricians and subcontractors
• Understanding of Singapore electrical regulations, codes of practice and safety standards
• Ability to manage multiple projects at once and strong communication with clients, consultants and regulators
• Recognised qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline; Singapore licences or certifications are advantageous

Required skills

• Technical knowledge of HV, LV and ELV systems; EV charging infrastructure is an advantage
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and electrical schematics
