Project Manager for Research Collaboration Lab

About the role

The ExxonMobil-NTU-A*STAR Corporate Lab seeks a Project Manager to lead the full lifecycle of its research portfolio across five programmes, coordinating with academic, government, and corporate partners.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison among Principal Investigators, NTU research support, NRF, A*STAR, and ExxonMobil for all project management and administrative matters.
• Manage budgeting, financial reporting, purchase orders, vendor payments, and ensure compliance with NTU and grant financial governance.
• Prepare and submit progress, milestone, annual, and final reports to the Implementing Agency (NRF) and ExxonMobil.
• Coordinate governance meetings, track KPIs, milestones, IP outcomes, and supervise the Project Officer.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or higher in Science, Engineering, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in research project management or grants administration.
• Familiarity with Singapore government‑funded research grants (NRF, A*STAR, IAF‑ICP) preferred.

• Strong budget management and financial reporting abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for interfacing with academic, government, and corporate stakeholders.
• Proficiency in MS Office and project management tools.
