Project Manager (Value Added Services) – Pharma APAC

About the role

The Project Manager (Value Added Services) will lead CAPEX projects for pharmaceutical facilities across APAC, ensuring successful delivery of new strategic investments and expansion initiatives while maintaining regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Execute CAPEX projects, overseeing construction and engineering activities for pharma sites.
• Ensure facilities comply with GMP, GDP and other regulatory requirements, supporting licence applications.
• Conduct risk assessments, implement control measures and coordinate with QSHE on safety matters.
• Prepare timely project reports covering updates, risks, decisions and actions.
• Manage contracts: source quotations, negotiate with vendors/contractors, and monitor delivery schedules.
• Analyse space utilisation and recommend improvements to optimise premises.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to align deliverables with strategic objectives, timelines and budgets.
• Participate in governance meetings and support business managers with value‑added service solutions such as sampling and storage.
• Contribute to business development initiatives and perform other ad‑hoc tasks as required.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Engineering, Project Management or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Experience in a distributor environment is advantageous.
• Proven experience qualifying projects within a GMP framework.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment and meet tight deadlines.
