About the role
The School of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering at NTU is seeking a Project Officer to lead the development of chemical surface‑finishing processes, including electroless plating, electroplating, and electrochemical etching. This research‑staff position offers the opportunity to work in a cutting‑edge laboratory environment within a leading university.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and optimise chemical surface‑finishing processes such as electroless plating, electroplating and electrochemical etching.
- Design experiments, analyse results and document procedures.
- Collaborate with faculty members and other research staff on related projects.
- Maintain laboratory safety standards and manage chemical inventories.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, material science, material engineering or a related field.
- Demonstrated knowledge of electrochemical processes.
