About the role
The School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Nanyang Technological University seeks a Project Officer to conduct research on safety‑critical control theory and machine learning, focusing on nonlinear system control and advanced ML methods for robotic applications.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct research in control theory and machine learning.
- Perform experiments on various robotic platforms.
- Collaborate internationally and publish in top journals and conferences.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in control theory, machine learning, robotics or a related field.
- Familiarity with nonlinear systems, state‑of‑the‑art ML (e.g., diffusion models, transformers) and robotics.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Proficiency in programming (Python) and ML tools (PyTorch).
- Entry‑level candidates are welcome.
