Purchaser - Construction Materials

About the role

Fuku is hiring a Purchaser in Singapore for the construction sector. The role covers sourcing and buying construction, maintenance, repair and handyman-related materials, tools and equipment, and working closely with project and site teams.

Key responsibilities

• Source and purchase construction, maintenance, repair and handyman-related materials, tools and equipment.
• Obtain quotations, compare prices and negotiate with suppliers.
• Manage purchase orders and ensure materials are delivered on time.
• Coordinate with project and site teams on material requirements and delivery schedules.
• Monitor stock levels and arrange timely replenishment.
• Maintain good relationships with suppliers and source new suppliers when needed.
• Ensure purchases stay within the allocated project budget.
• Handle quotations, purchase orders, invoices and other purchasing documentation.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of relevant purchasing experience in the construction, building or renovation industry.
• Good knowledge of construction materials, suppliers and market pricing.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple purchase requests.

Required skills

• Strong negotiation and quotation comparison skills.
• Good coordination and communication skills.

What we offer

• Performance-related pay of 5-20% per month.
• Medical pay of 2% per month.
• Yearly salary increment.
