About the role
This is an entry‑level Purchasing position within a construction and engineering firm. You will support project sites by managing order flow, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring timely deliveries. The role also includes basic administrative duties to keep the procurement process running smoothly.
Key responsibilities
- Receive and verify orders from various project sites to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Submit verified orders promptly to suppliers to facilitate timely procurement.
- Communicate with suppliers and site in‑charges to coordinate delivery schedules and confirm arrangements.
- Organise and maintain filing systems and other administrative tasks that support order processing.
Required profile
- Fresh or entry‑level candidate.
- Ability to receive, check and forward purchase orders accurately.
- Strong communication skills for liaising with suppliers and site personnel.
- Attention to detail for basic administrative and filing duties.
