Purchasing Officer / Vendor Manager / Sourcing Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Purchasing Officer / Vendor Manager / Sourcing Specialist to support our procurement operations, supplier relationships, and sourcing initiatives. The role is ideal for candidates who are passionate about cost optimisation, vendor coordination and building strong supply‑chain partnerships.

Key responsibilities

• Source, evaluate and manage suppliers and vendor relationships.
• Support procurement activities such as quotations, negotiations and purchase orders.
• Monitor inventory levels, procurement schedules and supply requirements.
• Compare pricing, product quality and supplier performance to optimise purchasing decisions.
• Coordinate with internal departments to understand procurement needs and timelines.
• Assist with contract management, vendor documentation and compliance requirements.
• Track deliveries, resolve supply issues and maintain accurate procurement records.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiency improvements.
• Monitor market trends, supplier developments and emerging sourcing opportunities.
• Prepare procurement reports, vendor evaluations and purchasing analyses.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Operations or a related field.
• 1–4 years of experience in purchasing, sourcing, procurement or vendor management.
• Strong negotiation, communication and analytical abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple vendors, priorities and deadlines in a hybrid work environment.
• Attention to detail and proactive problem‑solving skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with spreadsheets.
• Experience using ERP systems.
• Familiarity with procurement software.
