QA Inspector – Manufacturing Quality Control

About the role

The QA Inspector will perform final inspections of coated products, ensuring they meet quality standards and customer specifications. Working on‑site in a controlled lighting environment, the role supports continuous improvement and collaborates with engineering and production teams.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct final inspection of coated products and verify compliance with engineering documents, drawings, and sales orders.
• Accurately record inspection results and maintain detailed quality documentation.
• Segregate, label, and package inspected products according to established procedures.
• Maintain packaging supply inventory and assist with monthly stock checks.
• Report quality issues promptly and contribute to corrective‑action initiatives.
• Participate in Material Review Board (MRB) activities and regular audits to identify and mitigate quality risks.
• Support training of junior inspectors and promote quality awareness across the organization.

Required profile

• Secondary 4 education or higher; a bachelor’s degree in quality management, engineering or related field is preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in quality control or inspection within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong attention to detail, systematic work approach, and good verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents.

Required skills

• Basic math for measurements.
• Use of inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers and gauges.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office for documentation.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management systems.
