QA Lead

About the role

UCT is seeking a QA Lead to oversee mechanical inspection and quality assurance for semiconductor components in Singapore. The role involves ensuring that every part meets strict quality standards before production begins.

Key responsibilities

• Perform mechanical inspections, including first‑piece, receiving, in‑process, and final inspections.
• Read engineering drawings and specifications to create precise CMM programs and inspection reports.
• Audit quality‑control processes and ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
• Analyze data and generate statistical reports such as CPK and SPC.
• Develop CMM platforms and format reports for various stakeholders.
• Provide quality support to other departments, suppliers, and customers.
• Conduct reverse‑engineering to convert existing products into usable electronic data.
• Participate in New Product Introduction (NPI) activities, evaluating CMM program adequacy and potential failure modes.
