QA/QC Engineer – Construction Quality Assurance

About the role

We are seeking a proactive QA/QC Engineer to support our QA/QC Manager and Project Manager in delivering high‑quality ACMV and utility piping projects across Singapore. The role involves ensuring compliance with client requirements, approved codes, and certification standards while working closely with construction and production teams.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and maintain the Project Quality Management Plan, including Method Statements and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
• Conduct inspections, evaluate workmanship, and verify compliance with specifications, codes, drawings, and contractual requirements.
• Coordinate with construction, production, and site teams to complete required inspections and tests.
• Monitor QA activities, recommend corrective and preventive actions, and track audit findings.
• Supervise inspection and testing schedules, arrange and witness site inspections, and review test reports.
• Maintain quality records, audit schedules, inspection reports, and corrective‑action logs.
• Assess subcontractors’ and suppliers’ QA/QC arrangements for compliance.
• Perform visual welding inspections and interpret radiographic (X‑ray) films for piping and structural steel.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a QA/QC Engineer in the construction industry.
• Knowledge of Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) works and BCA quality requirements.
• Proficient in preparing and reviewing quality control documents, engineering drawings, and specifications.
• Team player with a hardworking, resource‑ful attitude.
