QC Analyst – Chemistry (12‑Hour Rotating Shift)

About the role

Join a multinational chemical company on Jurong Island as a QC Analyst specializing in chemistry. You will work on 12‑hour rotating shifts, ensuring that raw materials, in‑process samples, and finished products meet the highest quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine and non‑routine quality control analyses on raw materials, in‑process samples, and finished products.
• Interpret QC results and make independent decisions to support process control.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to maintain compliance with quality standards.
• Take ownership of the QC laboratory outside regular hours and lead short‑term projects, including customer complaint investigations.
• Maintain calibration records and ensure all laboratory equipment is in optimal condition.
• Communicate analytical results accurately and promptly to relevant departments.
• Mentor and guide new team members.

Required profile

• Degree in Chemistry or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of QC experience in a laboratory environment.
• Familiarity with quality management systems and laboratory techniques.
• Strong analytical mindset with sharp attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, shift‑based environment.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
