QC Associate

About the role

Join GSK's Quality Control team in Singapore as a Direct Staff member. You will lead routine sample testing, manage laboratory activities and ensure that materials and finished products meet both company and regulatory standards. Key responsibilities

• Perform routine and non‑routine analytical testing using established methods and instruments.
• Manage sample receipt, triage, storage, chain of custody and disposition to ensure traceability.
• Investigate out‑of‑specification or atypical results and support corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintain calibration, maintenance and basic troubleshooting of laboratory equipment.
• Record and review data following good documentation practices and support data trending for quality decisions.
• Contribute to method transfers, verification/validation activities and continuous improvement projects.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology or a related life‑science field.
• Minimum of 2 years laboratory experience in an analytical environment.
• Practical knowledge of good laboratory practices and good documentation practices.
• Ability to work on‑site in Singapore and under routine shift patterns when required.
• Clear written and spoken English with accurate documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
