Quality Assurance Executive

About the role

Interfood Singapore is seeking a detail‑oriented Quality Assurance Executive to support quality, food safety, and regulatory compliance across supplier and customer documentation, quality management systems, and complaint handling. This desk‑based position requires 2‑3 years of food‑industry experience and strong organizational abilities.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and manage the supplier database, ensuring all quality, food safety, and regulatory documents are current, version‑controlled, and uploaded with correct expiry dates.
• Proactively follow up with suppliers for missing or updated documentation and support supplier approval/re‑approval processes.
• Handle customer documentation requests, complete questionnaires, and keep the customer documentation database up to date.
• Manage the internal Quality Management System (QMS), act as the primary liaison for IFS Broker matters, and coordinate internal, external, and certification audits across APAC.
• Track corrective actions from audits, support continuous improvement of QMS processes, and maintain training records.
• Assist the QA Manager with customer complaints and non‑conformance cases, log and investigate issues, coordinate root‑cause analysis, and monitor trends.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of experience in the food industry, preferably in quality assurance or food safety.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a desk‑based environment.
• Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
• Interest in quality systems, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement.
