Quality Control Analyst

About the role

Lonza is hiring a Quality Control Analyst in Tuas, Singapore. You will perform timely testing and analysis of in-process and final product samples in line with SOPs and cGMP, ensuring accurate documentation and data integrity. You will also support lab operations, sample logistics and analytical methods such as HPLC and spectroscopy, and contribute to continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Prioritize and carry out testing and analysis on time to meet business needs.
• Analyze bulk product, in-process and stability samples according to SOPs and test methods.
• Document results in line with cGMP.
• Troubleshoot analytical methods and equipment problems.
• Take part in method transfers and validation, and in equipment qualification.
• Select QC equipment and standards/reagents, and run assay trend analysis and document updates.
• Support general lab tasks such as housekeeping, equipment maintenance, supply inventory and ordering, and glassware management.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Chemistry, Science or an equivalent field.
• Relevant work experience, preferably lab experience in a biotech or medically related field.

Required skills

• Good understanding of HPLC and Empower software.
• Support for HPLC equipment maintenance and qualification.
• Understanding and execution of spectroscopy and other methods, including chromatography, protein concentration (A280 or SoloVPE) and other physicochemical methods.
