Quality Control Assistant

About the role

Join ST Engineering’s Advanced Networks & Sensors business as a Quality Control Assistant. You will support the QC team in ensuring that products meet stringent quality standards through systematic inspection, testing, and documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Perform Incoming, In‑Process, and Outgoing Quality Control (IQC, IPQC, OQC) inspections.
• Check products using measuring tools such as calipers, microscopes, CMM, AOI, gauge blocks and torque tools.
• Verify that products conform to engineering drawings, GD&T symbols, BOMs and specifications.
• Record inspection results accurately and report non‑conforming items.
• Assist in generating NCRs and implementing corrective actions.
• Follow proper material handling, ESD control, cleanroom and safety procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness of the work area and equipment.

Required profile

• Proficient with measuring equipment (caliper, micrometer, CMM, AOI, gauge blocks, torque tools, microscope).
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T symbols, BOMs and specifications.
• Experience conducting IQC, IPQC and OQC inspections.
• Knowledge of defect classification, material handling, NCR processes and corrective actions.
• Familiarity with ESD control, cleanroom protocols and safety practices.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation.
