Quality & Food Safety Co-manufacturing Lead – APAC

About the role

The role sits within Danone’s Quality & Food Safety department and is responsible for ensuring the safety and quality of products manufactured at co‑manufacturing sites across the APAC region, including joint ventures and licensees.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team of professionals overseeing the regional co‑manufacturing network.
• Act as the primary regional point of contact for global and local QFS teams on co‑manufacturing issues.
• Deliver reporting, share best practices, and strengthen QFS capabilities across APAC.
• Ensure compliance with Danone standards, audit follow‑up and gap closure.
• Implement and maintain a robust QFS management system throughout the network.
• Manage regulatory issues and stay current with agency guidelines.
• Develop and monitor performance metrics to detect and act on weak signals.
• Troubleshoot production problems, drive root‑cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Install appropriate controls, sampling plans, hold/release systems, code rotation, and processing controls.
• Collaborate with Procurement, R&I, EHS, Sustainability, Regulatory, Food Safety, Project Management, Operations and Engineering.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Food Science, Technology or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, including 5‑6 years in co‑manufacturing management.
• Strong expertise in food and ingredient quality and manufacturing operations.
