Quality Supervisor – CNC Precision Engineering

About the role

The Quality Supervisor will lead the implementation and continuous improvement of the company’s Quality Management System (QMS) for CNC precision engineering. Reporting to the Managing Director/General Manager, the role ensures that all products meet customer specifications, engineering drawings, industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and enhance the ISO 9001 QMS, including policies, procedures and controlled documentation.
• Coordinate internal and external audits, manage document control and ensure timely closure of audit findings.
• Oversee incoming, in‑process and final inspections, approve First Article Inspection (FAI) and First Piece Inspection (FPI), and release production.
• Handle customer quality matters, including complaints, warranty issues and corrective actions using 8D, 5 Why or Fishbone analysis.
• Evaluate and audit suppliers, work with procurement to resolve quality issues and drive supplier improvement.
• Manage calibration programs for measuring equipment, maintain traceable records and ensure metrology accuracy.

Required profile

• Senior‑level professional with experience in quality assurance/control within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven track record of implementing ISO 9001 QMS and leading audits.
• Strong understanding of CNC precision engineering processes and documentation.
