Quantity Surveyor - AC&M/Electrical

About the role

Fuku is hiring a full-time Quantity Surveyor for AC&M (Air Conditioning, Mechanical and Electrical) works, based in Tai Seng, Singapore. The role covers tender preparation, cost control and contract administration for mechanical and electrical projects.

Key responsibilities

• Review and interpret mechanical and/or electrical tender documents and drawings.
• Prepare quantity take-offs, bills of quantities (BQ) and cost estimates for M&E works.
• Support preliminary mechanical or electrical design for Design & Build tenders.
• Prepare technical documentation and proposals for tender submissions.
• Manage contract administration for main contractors and subcontractors, and review Letters of Award.
• Source, evaluate, negotiate and shortlist suppliers and subcontractors.
• Prepare monthly progress claims and process subcontractor and supplier payments.
• Monitor project budgets, propose value engineering solutions and coordinate with site teams.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience; experience in either mechanical or electrical works is acceptable.
• Experience in cost control, tendering or contract administration is an advantage.
• Able to work independently and in a team, with good communication skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

What we offer

• Salary range of $3,500 - $6,000.
• 0-20% monthly performance-related pay.
• 2% monthly medical allowance.
• Yearly salary increment.
