Quantity Surveyor – Construction Cost Management

About the role

We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Singapore, responsible for managing project costs from inception to completion. You will work closely with clients, consultants, contractors and suppliers to ensure financial performance aligns with project goals.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates, budgets and tender documents for construction projects.
• Evaluate subcontractor quotations, compare them and make recommendations.
• Monitor project costs and ensure expenditures stay within approved budgets.
• Handle contract administration, including progress claims, variations and final accounts.
• Conduct site visits to track progress and verify work completed.
• Liaise with stakeholders on cost‑related matters and identify cost‑saving opportunities.
• Manage project risks and ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction Management or a related field.
• Relevant experience in the construction or facilities management industry.
• Good knowledge of contracts, costing and tendering processes.
• Strong analytical and negotiation abilities.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Experience with Quantity Surveying software.
