Quantity Surveyor – Construction Projects

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Quantity Surveyor to join our construction team. You will be responsible for preparing tender and contract documents, managing project costs, and ensuring compliance with local regulations across a variety of public and private projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities, material quantities and take‑offs.
• Establish client requirements and coordinate quality controls to meet specifications.
• Develop procurement strategies to optimise sourcing and cost efficiency.
• Analyse and track expenses and costing for tenders and ongoing projects.
• Allocate work to subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring timely and quality delivery.
• Guide project administrators in preparing progress and payment claims.
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors and other parties to resolve technical issues.
• Review architectural, civil and structural work for regulatory compliance.
• Lead regular project meetings, record decisions and monitor progress.
• Identify potential projects and collaborate with the commercial department to secure new contracts.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying.
• Minimum 2 years experience as a Quantity Surveyor.
• At least 1 year experience on LTA & SMRT or equivalent projects.

Required skills

• Preparation of tender and contract documents.
• Bill of quantities and material quantity take‑off preparation.
• Project costing and expense tracking.
