Quantity Surveyor

About the role

HG Works is looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to support its construction operations. The role involves cost estimation, budgeting, tender preparation, contract administration and cost control across various projects.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing cost estimates, budgets and tender submissions.
• Evaluate and manage subcontractor quotations, procurement and cost control.
• Prepare progress claims, payment certifications and final accounts.
• Monitor project expenditures, track variations and ensure cost‑control measures are in place.
• Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors and suppliers for procurement and material selection.
• Conduct site measurements and valuations and maintain proper contract documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or related field.
• 4–6 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in private residential, A&A and landed house projects, preferably with a main contractor.
• Strong analytical, negotiation and cost‑control abilities.

Required skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of contract administration (e.g., SIA, PSSCOC) and cost management.
