Quantity Surveyor

About the role

Join JLL’s Singapore office as a Quantity Surveyor, supporting cost management and procurement for a variety of construction projects. You will work closely with engineers, architects, designers and owners to ensure budgets are accurate and projects stay on track.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost plans by taking off quantities and pricing to support budgeting and financial planning.
• Collaborate with design and client teams to review and adjust cost plans as project scopes evolve.
• Assist in preparing tender documents, including Bills of Quantities, Schedule of Works and Schedule of Rates, and manage the tender process.
• Analyse tender returns, negotiate pricing with contractors and subcontractors, and help secure optimal contract terms.
• Evaluate and administer contracts, prepare valuations, manage variations and finalize accounts.
• Certify final payment claims and produce comprehensive cost reports for client approval.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in both pre‑construction and construction phases of projects.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills for interacting with clients, consultants and contractors.
• Analytical and strategic thinking to assess project costs and procurement options.
• Attention to detail and strong organisational abilities for accurate documentation and reporting.
• Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams and meet tight deadlines.
