Quantity Surveyor / Project Quantity Surveyor (E&M & Civil)

About the role

We are seeking a Quantity Surveyor / Project Quantity Surveyor with experience in mechanical, electrical and civil works to join our construction team. The role involves managing cost control, tender processes and subcontract administration for large‑scale projects, including LTA MRT works.

Key responsibilities

• Perform quantity take‑offs, measurements and prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
• Source, review and negotiate quotations with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Participate in project meetings and site walks to evaluate progress claims.
• Control project budgets, prepare monthly financial reports and presentations (senior level).
• Prepare RFQ and subcontract tender documents, analyse cost comparisons, handle post‑tender clarifications and recommend awards.
• Administer sub‑contracts, manage contractual documentation, correspondences and dispute matters.
• Assess and verify subcontractors’ monthly progress claims, final accounts and variation orders promptly.

Required profile

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or related Mechanical/Electrical/Civil & Structural Engineering disciplines.
• 3–6 years of relevant construction experience, preferably on LTA MRT or major reinforced concrete projects.
• Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail and ability to work both independently and within a team.
• Capability to multitask in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.

Required skills

• Knowledge of PSSCOC, REDAS and/or SIA standard forms of contracts.
