Real Estate Transaction Specialist

About the role

Jabil is looking for a Real Estate Transaction Specialist to manage and oversee real estate transactions in their region. The role covers landlord and tenant lease negotiations and lease administration, acquisitions and dispositions from negotiation through closing, real estate asset management and corporate space planning. It reports directly to the Senior Director of Real Estate and does not involve managing other employees.

Key responsibilities

• Lead Jabil's real estate transactions in the geographic region for all segments and functions
• Manage multiple vendors and suppliers in the real estate and transaction markets
• Deliver footprint and strategic guidance to Jabil segments on future growth and contraction
• Liaise with Jabil segments and internal stakeholders on footprint and real estate needs
• Generate and administer lease and funding documents
• Maintain data in lease administration systems
• Audit and oversee accounts payable and receivable for the leased portfolio

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree required; Finance and Real Estate preferred; advanced degree preferred
• 12 years of related business experience, including 5 years of project management, 4 years of real estate lease administration and 4 years of real estate contract negotiation (or an equivalent combination)
• Knowledge of domestic and international real estate strategy, lease structures and agreements
• Ability to present, write lease agreements and analyse data databases
