Rebar Foreman

About the role

The Rebar Foreman will lead all rebar activities on site, ensuring quality, safety, and timely delivery. This role coordinates closely with other trades and project stakeholders to keep the construction schedule on track.

Key responsibilities

• Take full charge of rebar cutting, bending, handling, and fixing operations.
• Assign daily tasks, supervise a team of 10‑20 workers, and drive production targets.
• Provide technical briefings and ensure compliance with design specifications (size, spacing, lap length, concrete cover).
• Conduct self‑inspections, prepare work for official checks, and manage quality control.
• Develop weekly and daily work plans to coordinate rebar work with formwork, concreting, and other trades.
• Manage material delivery, inventory, and usage to minimise waste.
• Enforce workplace safety under the WSH Act, conduct daily toolbox talks, and ensure proper PPE use.
• Serve as the primary communication point for project managers, client representatives, consultants, and other foremen.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience as a Rebar Foreman or Senior Rebar Worker.
• Strong leadership and team‑management abilities.
• Ability to work in a high‑intensity construction environment and meet schedules.
• Singapore citizens or permanent residents are preferred.
