Regional Accountant – Asia

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Regional Accountant to support our operations across Asia. The role will manage day‑to‑day accounting, budgeting, tax filings and audit coordination while driving process improvements and digital initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for ERP modules (procurement, order processing, inventory, finance) and resolve operational accounting issues.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies across all financial activities.
• Prepare payments, balance‑sheet schedules, management reports and oversee accounts‑receivable collection.
• Standardise processes, strengthen internal controls and provide accounting advice to business units.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and audit activities (internal, external, agreed‑upon procedures).
• Drive digital projects such as AI tools, workflow automation and dashboard reporting; perform user‑acceptance testing for new systems.
• Liaise with banks on guarantees, letters of credit and loan applications as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Self‑starter with strong teamwork abilities and a continuous‑improvement mindset.
• Confident in proposing solutions and collaborating with operational stakeholders.
