Regional Business Controller

About the role

Blue Water Shipping is seeking a Regional Business Controller to support its offices across Asia, Oceania, the Middle East and Africa. The role bridges finance and operations, delivering strategic insights, optimizing processes and driving performance in a collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee financial reporting for regional offices, ensuring accuracy, completeness and compliance with accounting standards.
• Develop and enhance reporting frameworks, dashboards and KPIs to provide actionable business insights.
• Evaluate and optimise finance and operational processes, leading automation and workflow improvements.
• Monitor regional performance metrics, conduct variance analysis and recommend corrective actions.
• Build strong relationships with country and office managers, acting as a trusted financial advisor.
• Facilitate cross‑functional collaboration between operations and finance, aligning goals and supporting strategic initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in financial reporting and analysis within a multi‑regional environment.
• Ability to develop and maintain dashboards and performance indicators.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, working closely with operational teams and senior management.
• Experience in process optimisation and implementation of best practices.
