Regional Category Marketing Manager – Running (APAC, ME, Africa, India)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Regional Category Marketing Manager to own the Running category across Asia Pacific, the Middle East, Africa and India. In this highly visible role you will shape strategy, lead product launches and drive commercial growth for a globally recognised premium athletic brand.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute end‑to‑end regional marketing and Go‑to‑Market strategies for the Running business.
• Align global priorities with local market opportunities and coordinate with category, sales, merchandising, retail, DTC, product and brand teams.
• Ensure consistent execution across wholesale, retail, e‑commerce and digital touchpoints.
• Create regional product training programmes to boost product knowledge and sales capability.
• Integrate the Running category into regional brand campaigns, athlete partnerships, community initiatives and key running events.
• Monitor performance, analyse campaign effectiveness and provide data‑driven recommendations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Sports Management or a related field.
• Proven experience in brand or category marketing within sporting goods, footwear or apparel.
• Track record of leading Running category marketing and delivering successful Go‑to‑Market plans.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to influence stakeholders across diverse markets.
• Passion for running, innovation and delivering exceptional consumer experiences.
• Fluent English and willingness to travel across the region.
