Regional Data Center Lead

About the role

JLL's Workplace Operations team is looking for a Regional Data Center Lead to support the engineering strategy across the region for a client's multi-site property portfolio. The role ensures compliance with JLL, client and statutory requirements and provides technical and contractual quality assurance so that managed buildings across APAC meet country, regional, global compliance and technical standards. It reports to the Regional Engineering Director and is based on-site in Singapore.

Key responsibilities

• Monthly and quarterly reporting on colocation and corporate real estate data centre metrics and operations
• Support the Energy Manager in tracking energy-saving initiatives aligned with the Sustainability Management Plan
• Work with sub-regional data centre teams on implementation and governance of data centre initiatives
• Support change management, including pre-work documentation review, submission support and power-down planning coordination with global teams
• Support major works, capacity and utilization coordination, and technical reporting on data centre performance
• Governance of drawings, OEM information, SOPs/EOPs, standardization, account engineering playbook compliance and vendor contract renewals
• Quality assurance of completed projects and reviews of planned installations, commissioning and maintenance reports
• Audit preparation, compliance attestation and review of capital and operating expenditure proposals

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in science or engineering
• Minimum 5 years of data centre engineering management preferred, or other relevant experience
• Thorough understanding of data centre building services design and engineering management
• Regional experience in Asia Pacific preferred; travel within Asia Pacific is required
• Ability to lead a team of in-country data centre managers across Asia Pacific
