Regional Financial Controller (Asia)

About the role

The Regional Financial Controller, Asia is a senior leadership position responsible for overseeing all financial and accounting functions across Czarnikow's Asian entities. You will drive strategic financial planning, ensure accurate reporting, and support the region's financial health while aligning with global objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the regional financial strategy in line with business goals.
• Provide financial advice to Regional Directors and trading teams.
• Prepare timely financial statements, management accounts, and cash‑flow forecasts.
• Coordinate year‑end audits and ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory and tax requirements.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting and long‑term financial planning processes.
• Maintain robust internal controls, financial systems and reporting structures.
• Identify financial risks and work with risk and compliance teams on mitigation.
• Lead and develop a high‑performing finance team across the region.

Required profile

• Relevant professional qualification (CPA, ACCA, CFA or equivalent).
• Extensive experience in finance leadership within a multi‑entity, multi‑country environment.
• Strong track record of strategic financial planning and stakeholder management.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills.
