Regional Head of Strategy

About the role

The Regional Head of Strategy will lead the development and execution of Weichai Power's strategic agenda across the Asia‑Pacific and India broader region. Reporting to senior leadership, the role partners with commercial, product, engineering, finance and legal teams to identify growth opportunities and drive profitable expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement a regional strategic roadmap aligned with the Group’s global objectives.
• Conduct market analysis, competitive benchmarking and industry assessments to uncover long‑term growth opportunities.
• Formulate market entry and expansion strategies for priority countries and sectors.
• Lead strategic planning cycles, including annual business planning and growth initiatives.
• Identify, evaluate and execute M&A, joint ventures, strategic investments and partnerships.
• Develop business cases, financial models and investment recommendations for regional expansion.
• Support the establishment of new regional offices, distributors and strategic alliances.
• Drive transformation projects that improve operational efficiency and organisational capability.

Required profile

• Proven experience in corporate strategy, business development or M&A within an industrial or power‑related environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to synthesize market data into actionable insights.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills across cross‑functional teams and senior leadership.
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex, multi‑country initiatives and deliver results.
