Regional Internal Auditor

About the role

The Regional Internal Auditor will report to the Internal Audit Manager and conduct financial, operational, and plant audits across Asia and the United States for a growing US manufacturer. The role focuses on risk‑based audit planning, control evaluation, and fraud investigation to protect company assets and improve processes.

Key responsibilities

• Define risk‑based audit frameworks, scopes, plans, and strategies for the group.
• Develop a deep understanding of business processes, risk profiles, and control systems.
• Execute the full audit cycle, assessing the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls.
• Report findings with recommendations and ensure timely remediation through follow‑up tracking.
• Conduct forensic audits and fraud investigations, driving corrective actions.
• Own and manage the Whistle Blowing program with independent reporting to the Audit Committee.
• Coordinate internal controls function, ensuring policies and procedures are up‑to‑date and properly implemented.
• Participate in internal consulting engagements to support group initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy.
• Minimum 5 years of internal audit experience, preferably in a Big 4 or multinational environment.
• Experience in the manufacturing sector is advantageous.
• Detail‑oriented, resourceful, proactive with strong interpersonal skills.
