Regional Procurement Executive (Direct and Indirect)

About the role

This is a greenfield opportunity for a procurement professional to build a procurement function from the ground up within a fast‑moving supply chain environment. You will design processes, policies and supplier frameworks for both direct and indirect spend, supporting the launch of a new manufacturing facility in Malaysia.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement procurement processes, policies, supplier management frameworks and purchasing workflows.
• Own end‑to‑end sourcing for raw materials, packaging, equipment and services.
• Lead RFP processes, evaluate and onboard suppliers across categories and regions.
• Support contract negotiations to secure commercially sound and compliant agreements.
• Collaborate with vendors to improve cost, quality and delivery metrics.
• Partner with Finance to monitor spend, manage budgets and identify cost‑saving opportunities.
• Work with OEM factories to ensure supply continuity and manage supply‑chain risk.
• Champion SAP adoption and drive procurement‑related system improvements.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, Halal certification, SFA guidelines and F&B industry standards.

Required profile

• Degree qualification with 3–5 years of procurement experience, preferably in FMCG or Food & Beverage manufacturing.
• Proven ability to build a procurement function from scratch covering direct and indirect spend.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP or other ERP/MRP systems.
• Experience working with third‑party logistics providers (3PL) and warehouse operations.
• Strong negotiation skills, commercial acumen and attention to detail.
• Comfortable operating in a fast‑moving, less structured environment.
