Regional Product Manager - Operating Room & Peri-Operative Solutions

About the role

Medline, a global healthcare company, is looking for a Regional Product Manager for its Operating Room and Peri-Operative Solutions portfolio across Southeast Asia. The role drives the regional product management agenda, identifies market opportunities and turns them into portfolio and go-to-market strategies, acting as a link between Global Product Divisions, regional teams, distributors and in-market stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new products and manage them through to market
• Develop marketing plans and promotional programs, including product strategy, pricing, collateral and brand management
• Review monthly financial performance, prepare product forecasts and budgets, and analyse sales trends and competitive impact
• Work with Manufacturing, Purchasing and Engineering to reduce cost of goods and manage inventory, and may negotiate vendor pricing
• Analyse and bid on GPO and Integrated Delivery Network contracts
• Deliver training materials and sales tools, conduct market research and lead a multi-functional team on new products and line extensions
• Travel with the sales force and follow up on product questions

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences or a related field; advanced degrees advantageous
• Minimum 5 years of product management, marketing or commercial experience in healthcare, medical devices or life sciences
• Experience with Operating Room and peri-operative products, and with distributors and indirect markets in Southeast Asia (highly desirable)
• Willingness to travel frequently across Southeast Asia; regional languages such as Mandarin, Bahasa or Thai are a strong advantage
