Regional Quality Manager (Asia Pacific)

About the role

Maersk is seeking a Regional Quality Manager for the Asia Pacific region to lead the implementation and continuous improvement of its Enterprise Quality Management System across multiple logistics sites. The role will ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and other certification standards while fostering a quality‑focused culture.

Key responsibilities

• Support implementation and improvement of the Enterprise QMS and ISO 9001 certification across Asia Pacific sites, including air, cold stores, and cold chain logistics.
• Conduct internal quality audits and deliver training programmes aligned with the QMS roadmap.
• Maintain a regional register of external certifications (ISO, TAPA, SQAS, GxP, GFSI) in collaboration with Centre Quality and site stakeholders.
• Partner with product owners and business stakeholders to deploy QMS initiatives and strengthen quality performance.
• Provide subject‑matter expertise on certification requirements, audit readiness, and continuous improvement.
• Support country and site teams on quality matters across air freight, trucking, warehousing, and cargo handling.
• Monitor, analyse, and report quality KPIs, identifying risks and improvement opportunities.
• Serve as regional quality contact for Automotive, Pharma, and Food Safety Management Systems, guiding customer requirements and CAPAs.

Required profile

• Certified Lead Auditor qualification (preferred).
• Proven experience conducting audits and managing certification programmes across recognised standards.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and other frameworks such as TAPA, GxP, GFSI, SQAS, or Food Safety Management Systems.
• Experience preparing organisations for external audits and certification processes.
• Demonstrated ability to deploy and govern quality management frameworks across multiple sites or countries.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills in a matrix organisation.
