Regional Sales Manager – APAC (Laboratory Diagnostics)

About the role

The company, a global leader in in‑vitro diagnostics, is seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager for the APAC region. Based in Singapore, you will lead a team that covers roughly ten countries, driving commercial performance and expanding market presence.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute regional sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets across APAC.
• Provide market intelligence, sales forecasts and strategic recommendations for business planning.
• Set country‑specific sales plans, objectives and performance targets aligned with corporate goals.
• Manage Country Managers and distributor networks to drive sales performance.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities, partnerships and routes to market.
• Maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, laboratory groups and healthcare stakeholders.
• Support contract negotiations, pricing discussions and commercial agreements.
• Deliver product training, sales workshops and presentations to regional teams and partners.
• Conduct regular visits to laboratories, hospitals, distributors and key accounts throughout the region.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science or a related discipline.
• Background in clinical laboratory diagnostics, medical technology or healthcare diagnostics is highly desirable.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in the IVD industry, preferably with reagents and diagnostic analysers.
• Proven success in regional sales management, distributor management and business development.
• Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Fluency in English is essential; Mandarin Chinese is highly advantageous, other Asian languages a plus.
• Willingness to travel extensively across the region (approximately 60%).
