Regional Service Engineer

About the role

The Regional Service Engineer will deliver on‑site and remote repair, maintenance, and technical support for JLG equipment across the Southeast Asia region. This position ensures equipment reliability, operational efficiency, and high customer satisfaction while collaborating with channel partners and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles and a range of access equipment in a timely manner.
• Interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics to perform safe and accurate repairs.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Conduct machine inspections, familiarisation sessions, and service training for customers.
• Prepare detailed service reports, warranty documentation, and cost estimates for out‑of‑warranty units.
• Register product quality issues in company systems and support continuous improvement.
• Provide quotations for repair, maintenance, and calibration to drive profitable revenue.
• Communicate technical, commercial, and operational feedback to sales, aftermarket, and operations teams.
• Travel overseas for training and service assignments as required.

Required profile

• Technical school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum two years of experience in field service, equipment repair, or a related technical area.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Strong time‑management and ability to prioritize competing tasks.
• Willingness to work in a fast‑paced, constantly changing environment.
